Account Manager - Commercial Lines
We are a client-focused insurance agency seeking a detail-oriented and personable Account Manager for our commercial lines team. This role is responsible for managing and servicing a book of commercial insurance business, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting producers in growing the book.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong communication and organizational skills, comfortable wearing multiple hats in a collaborative environment.
Duties

Serve as primary point of contact for commercial clients, responding to coverage questions, policy changes, and service requests.

Conduct policy reviews and advise clients on appropriate coverages and risk management strategies.

Coordinate renewals and re-shopping policies when necessary.

Process endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and cancellations.

Review policies and endorsements for accuracy.

Maintain up-to-date client files and documentation in the agency management system (e.g., HawkSoft, etc.)

Work with carriers to obtain competitive quotes for new and renewal business.
Qualifications:
-
1+ years of commercial lines insurance experience
-
Active Property & Casualty License
-
Familiarity with standard commercial lines coverages (GL, Property, WC, Auto, BOP, etc.)

Experience with agency management systems and rating platforms

Insurance Agent (Bilingual)

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

Must have current Property and Casualty license to effectively service clients and the agency.

Review and explain policy details clearly to ensure the best match for clients' needs.

Manage client inquiries and payment processing efficiently.

Balance multiple tasks with attention to detail and follow up on quotes and referrals.

Utilize software tools, including Office 365, Canva, and AMS systems.

Complete client and renewal follow ups.

M-F - 9:15 - 5:00 PM

Not commission based but offered on top of hourly, case by case.
